Team Africa 2009“Making a Difference, One Smile at a Time”Team Africa 2009Team Africa 2009 promises to be exciting, educational, and adventurous. We'll be traveling countries within Africa in search of unique stories, wonderful and exciting people, beautiful locations, amazing experiences and many, many smiles. We will be filming along the way to record this inspirational experience. There will be real time communications via Satellite and the Internet - bringing this Team Africa Expedition and everything we do, right into your classrooms, offices and homes. There will be an educational component for young people – our future. The more the youth of the world understand each other, the better and safer our world will become. We’re planning on interactive exchanges between these young people, fostering communications and shared experiences. This will be facilitated by the latest telecommunications and Internet capabilities. Children in the USA communicating with children in Africa – a better understanding of each other equals a better future for everyone. Making a Difference - One smile at a Time. There will also be a leadership component to this expedition. As corporations look to emerging markets to create business opportunity and growth, it is important for leaders/executives to understand the people, cultures and socio-economic environments of these nations to successfully support strong business partnerships. We will be looking at avenues to connect business executives from Africa with executives from the United States. Becoming an informed and effective global citizen is everyone's responsibility, especially experienced executives from the west who can make a positive contribution to the world. Making a Difference - One Smile at a Time. As this expedition continues to develop during 2008, this website/page will be updated frequently. Many of you have already asked me how to support/assist this expedition, and I thank you for this positive support. Details will be available shortly – but the good news is that it will be no more than $25 dollars per person, $50 per classroom or $100 per corporate team (5 members) to join the team, learn, make a difference, create a smile and support this expedition. We have a simple, unique and exciting action plan to execute on our passion and belief that a difference can be made – one smile at a time. Details will be online shortly.
