Team Play

Engaged teams are the lifeblood of successful organizations.  They produce results that far exceed the sum of the individual capacities of their members.

Talent may secure matches, but tournaments are won only by team play.  Enabling team performance thus becomes critical for organizational growth.
Facilitating team play of the kind that is witnessed in a well-rehearsed orchestra, a synchronized surgical unit, or a winning sports team, is one of the top challenges of organizational managers.

Content

A team is a dynamic, living system of inter-relationships amongst a group of individuals working together to realize shared aspirations.  An outstanding team does so in ways that complement and leverage the strengths of each of its members.  Thus, it accomplishes uncommon results.
Team play develops over four sequential phases: Orientation, Decision Making, Productivity, and Resonance

Participation

The participants at this workshop shall learn to:

  • Appreciate the strengths and talents of oneself and fellow team members, or participants
  • Identify the stages of team development
  • Develop the core elements of an effective team in action
  • Use play as a method for solving problems, promoting engagement, making decisions and building relationships
  • Create an Action Plan to enhance team effectiveness

This fun-spirited program is designed to enable members and leaders of groups to develop melody, harmony and rhythm.  It is suitable for all types of product and service organizations, project teams and professional practices.
